Engage Kids

At Engage Boise, we believe that children are a gift from the Lord and bring us great joy! It’s very important to bring up our children to know and serve the Lord and that’s one of the areas we put a lot of focus.

Weekly Children's class:

  • Kids’ Bible Study: Sundays at 9:30 AM

  • Kids’ classes during 10:30 AM Sunday morning service:

    • Nursery (birth to age 3). Moms are welcome to hang out with their babies, or just leave the babies for some play time and have some time to sit with other adults. Livestream of the worship service is available in the nursery.

    • Preschool (age 3-kindergarten)

    • Kids’ church for elementary students (K-6th grade)

  • Kids’ classes during 7 PM Wednesday family night:

    • Toddler/preschool (birth-kindergarten)

    • Elementary class (1st-6th grade) Junior Bible Quiz, a great Biblical instruction program for kids

What to Expect:

  • Our caring volunteers will greet you and love your child. If your child is nervous or would like you to stay with them for a while, you are welcome to do so. If you have any concerns or questions, please let one of our volunteers know, we are here to help!

  • On Sunday mornings, our preschool and elementary students start together in the children’s area with some kids worship songs, then separate for class time. Both classes offer age-appropriate Bible lessons each week as well as games and other activities. Nursery-aged children have unstructured time for play.

  • Wednesday nights we offer a play-based Bible storytime for toddlers and preschoolers, and elementary-aged kids get Biblical instruction through Junior Bible Quiz and related Bible studies.

  • Preschool classes on Sundays and all classes on Wednesdays usually offer a snack so make sure to let us know about any dietary restrictions your child may have.

  • All our volunteers are required to pass a background check before serving, but there is always room on our team. If you love kids and want to be part of our amazing volunteer team, please let one of our pastoral staff know and we’ll talk with you about next steps!
